From May 20 to 23, the 17th China International Elevator Exhibition (WEE EXPO 2026) was successfully held at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou, bringing together elevator manufacturers, component suppliers, engineers, developers, and industry professionals from around the world.
As one of the most influential elevator industry events in the Asia-Pacific region, this year’s exhibition focused on the theme:
“Connecting Global Markets, Driving Innovative Development.”
For the team at Niutech Lift, WEE EXPO was more than just an exhibition—it was an opportunity to reconnect with the global market, observe industry transformation firsthand, and better understand the evolving needs of customers worldwide.
One of the most noticeable impressions at this year’s exhibition was the strong international presence. Visitors from South America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Europe could be seen throughout the halls, actively discussing projects, sourcing components, and exploring new cooperation opportunities.
Despite ongoing adjustments in the global real estate market, overseas demand for elevators and modernization solutions continues to grow steadily. Conversations at the exhibition reflected a shared understanding across the industry: while the market is changing, opportunities still exist for companies that remain flexible, innovative, and globally connected.
For many Chinese elevator manufacturers, international cooperation is no longer just an option—it has become an important direction for long-term development.
This year’s WEE EXPO highlighted several major industry trends, including:
Compared with previous years, many exhibitors shifted their focus from large-scale visual presentations toward practical technologies and user-oriented solutions.
Home elevators, in particular, attracted significant attention. As aging populations and accessibility awareness continue to reshape urban living, more families are seeking compact, comfortable, and aesthetically integrated residential elevator solutions.
At the same time, sustainability and energy efficiency remain key topics throughout the industry. Lightweight materials, lower energy consumption systems, and digital maintenance technologies are gradually becoming standard expectations rather than optional upgrades.
Another important observation from this exhibition was the growing emphasis on customization and reliability.
Today’s customers are no longer simply comparing prices. They care more about:
This trend aligns closely with the philosophy of Niutech Lift. As a China-based elevator supplier with years of export experience, we continue to focus on delivering practical and cost-effective elevator solutions tailored to different markets and building requirements.
Whether for passenger elevators, freight elevators, home lifts, or customized projects, we believe that understanding customer needs is just as important as manufacturing the product itself.
The elevator industry may be facing a period of adjustment, but innovation and global cooperation are creating new momentum for the future.
WEE EXPO 2026 reminded us that behind every technological development is a shared goal: making urban life safer, more efficient, and more accessible.
For Niutech Lift, this exhibition was not only a chance to observe industry trends, but also a valuable reminder that meaningful partnerships are built through communication, trust, and continuous improvement.
We sincerely thank everyone who connected with us during the exhibition, and we look forward to meeting more partners around the world in the near future.
